Day 1- Tuesday, May 5, 2009. As I was reading an online local news article, I noticed a banner add to the right that had a picture of a young family and it stated "Would you like to make $5,000/month posting links on Google?" I was finished with my article, and thought to myself "click on the dumb link and get it over with". So, I clicked on this link and it took me to this individual’s personal “money” blog.
The individual's blog stated how she was making over $5,000/month within 4 weeks of starting the program. There was a link to get started with the Google Biz Kit. So...I clicked on that link to get transferred (obviously knowing that these are all Affiliate links and that is where the money is being made).
This took me to, not Google, but to My Internet Payday's site. There was a form to the right that asked for my name and contact information. I filled it out and clicked submit. Then a video of a man started speaking about this great opportunity with Google. This guy would show you how to make great money, not a gazillion dollars, but great money by working with the internet’s largest search engine, Google.
His "system" if you will, was $1.oo for the first 7 days as a trial period. I clicked on the disclaimer (always do this) to see what the ongoing charge would be after the trial period if I didn't cancel. After reading the disclaimer, it spelled out that after the 7 trial period expires, and you didn't cancel, it would cost you approx $75/month to continue. You could cancel at any time.
I then Googled My Internet Payday Review and found no real negative information on the program.
So, what the heck, a Buck. I entered my credit card information for the $1 and immediately set my Outlook Calendar to remind me that (6) days from now (in case I forgot) to cancel this if I lost interest. I then proceeded to sign up for My Internet Payday's site. I was issued a username and password and was off to check out this site.
