I just wanted to give anyone who is following this blog an update to my YTD earnings through all of affiliate and internet marketing efforts. FYI - I do nothing to optimize this blog, I only provide it in case people stumble on it and want to see my progress!
ClickBank - $6,742
Online Casino Affiliates - $1,974
Google AdSense - $74.96 (still working on the same $100 threshold as when I started over a year ago)
Sporting Good Affiliates - $1,998
Total - $10,788.96
AND
I have since left my job and started my own Web Design and Internet Marketing Firm for small/medium sized businesses in the Milwaukee, WI area! I am not killing it pay check wise, but am making more than I was at my old job and have FREEDOM!
So when asked if Affiliate Marketing and Internet Marketing work.....YES! When looking at the $10,000 I have made in the affiliate accounts, that is mostly passive now. I started there and worked my way up to creating web sites and marketing for live brick and mortar businesses. That being said, its not like I focused 40hrs a week all year long for that $10k.
I may be trying to go back to work on my Clickbank marketing and try to duplicate 2-3 more sites and try to get that $10k to $40k+ next year. Its fun, but I enjoy working with business owners more, so that were I spend my time.
Who knows what that figure would be if I did it full time this entire past year??? We will never know! Either way, it all worked out. So, thank Joel Comm!
